A premium residence in a place with bakery tradition
For several generations of Brno's residents, the lower part of the Cejl area was associated with the smell of fresh bread. After the shutdown of the production, we are writing a new history of the site of the former Workers' Bakery and turning it into a residence inspired by successful London projects and meeting the demanding environmental criteria for the BREEAM certification.
A LIVING COURTYARD
Enjoy life to the full. The landscaped courtyard of Pekárenský dvůr will offer plenty of opportunities – from barbecue zones through children's and workout playgrounds and communal gardens to outdoor spaces for home office.
HIGH-QUALITY MATERIALS
We hold a high standard in interior design material. Wooden floors, brickwork facades, modern aluminium windows and doors – that is a combination for timelessly elegant living.
PURITY OF STYLE
With its clean lines and functional layout, the architecture of Pekárenský dvůr refers to the industrial buildings that continue to complete the character of Brno's Zábrdovice.
SHARED ROOFTOP TERRACES
For residents, there are several shared terraces on the premises totalling 725 square metres, adapted for both work and leisure.
SEMI-PRIVATE PARK
The park landscaping of more than 2,600 square metres of the open courtyard area is the work of the renowned Krejčiříkovi garden studio, whose work includes, among others, the design of the gardens of Villa Tugendhat or the Kuks hospital.
A WIDE RANGE OF CLUB SERVICES
The uniqueness of Pekárenský dvůr lies in offering a range of services available exclusively to residents and their guests. These include, for example, a sauna, a massage room, a fitness centre, a 24/7 concierge service and others.
INDOOR PARKING PLACES
In the large-scale garages, we envisage additional facilities not only for motorists. In them, you will find electric car charging stations, a self-service car wash or a bicycle room with space for basic bicycle service.

“The architectural solution of Pekárenský dvůr is inspired by the area's rich industrial heritage. It celebrates the history of the Brno district that used to be home to artists, printers, textile and furniture makers. The lines of the buildings are frugal; the brickwork facades have a regular rhythm of large aluminium industrial-style windows. At the same time, however, we are working with simple elements of material disruption of the facade stereotype in the form of sunken loggias and cantilevered balconies that connect the apartments to the green courtyard."
“Pekárenský dvůr Residence is not another typical residential house, it is a concept of communal living that responds to today's ever faster pace of living. We were inspired by co-living projects that we had worked on in the past in London. We tried to create a unique place, with a unique atmosphere, offering quiet living right in the centre of Brno with the benefits of a 5-star hotel.
To its future residents, therefore, the site will offer many services – from wellness, fitness and relaxation areas through an outdoor workout or a children's playground, a barbecue zone and a party gazebo to a sunny shared rooftop terrace. The entrance reception with a concierge service and lounge area will also extend the residents' own living space."
The Pekárenský dvůr project is an opportunity for us to bring to Brno new horticultural trends and contemporary design elements inspired by trends in world capitals. We emphasized the cleanliness and elegance of the organic elements in the layout of the courtyard, which is actually a large rooftop garden. The same principles apply to the vegetation on the individual terraces of the houses. It is also important for us to select plants that are not only attractive, but meet stringent sustainability requirements, demanding climate conditions and lower maintenance requirements.
The aim was to create a stylish and comfortable outdoor space for pleasant life of the residents."
We want to bring to the rapidly developing site of Brno Zábrdovice what we always try to achieve - unique architecture designed by top designers and architects with emphasis on the use of high-quality materials. We want to keep pushing the boundaries of the current housing standard and bring a new concept of housing in which people have plenty of privacy, but also lots of spaces and opportunities to spend time together."
